  • Re-recording Mixing: Achieve the perfect balance between dialogue, sound effects, and music through level adjustments, true peak measurement with YouLean Loudness Meter, and phase correlation analysis.

  • Mastering and Exporting: Learn the ins and outs of exporting final audio files, ensuring they adhere to broadcast standards. Perform a thorough sound and loudness check to guarantee excellence.


At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply basic editing techniques using Pro Tools software.

  • Apply EQ and Compressor during sound editing to enhance audio quality.

  • Identify broadcast standards and audio specifications in stereo format.

  • Examine files to ensure that they are in the required technical format for sound mixing.

  • Set up project session file for stereo sound mixing using Pro Tools software.

  • Identify components of each audio stem.

  • Edit and process different audio stems.    

  • Balance dialogue, sound effects and music to create a final stereo broadcast compliant audio mix.

  • Check and rectify phase error in audio mix.

  • Comply to loudness level of network audio specification with Youlean Loudness Meter

  • Export final audio files that conform to audio specifications and broadcast standards.

  • Export mix report for mix authencity and final delivery.
